Description
Tier 3 (Care Home, Hospital, Dental Practice, GP Practice) :
1. One Zoom/MS Teams teaching session per year for non-clinical staff (level 1) on IPC basics:
- Hygiene
- Chain of Infection
2. One onsite IPC training session for clinical staff (level 2) on:
- Hand hygiene and general hygiene
- Chain of Infection
- Pathogen transfer
- Wound care
- Swabbing and sampling
- Management of diarrhoeal outbreaks
- Additional topics can be added subject to requirements
- Printed certificates will be sent for all attendees
3. One onsite IPC review including report and recommendations/actions plus follow up visit as required
4. Hard and electronic copies of standard IPC SOPs applicable to the site.
5. Electronic copy of Standard IPC Procedural Manual including standard IPC related posters for:
- Hand hygiene
- PPE
- Stool charts
- AGH contacts poster
6. One catch up call per week with AGH Infection Control Services Ltd (#additional calls subject to charge)
7. AGH IPC Specialist Nurse to attend annual onsite IPC committee meeting.
